I am a U.S. Navy veteran, and I have been fascinated by the history of World War II since hearing my father's war stories while a child. My interest was further inflamed during my own military service while visiting important historic sites such as Pearl Harbor, Guam, the Philippines, and Japan.
During our first port call at Pearl Harbor, my ship was anchored within sight of the Arizona Memorial. I found myself sitting topside one balmy Sunday morning, imagining what that attack must have been like. My imaginings really brought the history home for me.
Many of my stories involve aviation. One of my earliest memories is of looking up in the sky and watching an airplane magically pass over. I've loved airplanes and flying ever since!
I have two main goals with my stories: First, to provide entertainment for you, my reader, and second, to share the rich history and historic details of that formative time.
